What do you plan on doing after graduate school? I would like to pursue a career in Public Relations, specializing in corporate communications. Something I’d like to kick off my bucket list is working on the communications team of a political campaign, perhaps a presidential one.
What were you involved with on campus? While at Mason, I worked as a Patriot Leader, Vice President of Akoma Circle, correspondent for Broadside, and I was an All-Girl cheerleader.
What success tips would you give current students at Mason?
- Go to class and do your homework. Duh.
- Set semester and yearlong goals. And then hold yourself to them.
- Get an internship. Having real-world experience puts a fire under your belly.
- Watch/read the news. It’s good to know what’s going on in the world.
- Always give more than you take and say yes more!
