It’s true we’re not huge fans of the on-again-off-again relationship that starts up with fall weather or the increase in studying in contrast with the decrease in daily motivation, but fall still brings us some happiness that we just cannot deny.

Fur
During the summer many people decide to get new additions to their families – pets! Don’t forget these furry friends need homes all throughout the year. Whether your companion is new or has been around for a while getting them cozy for fall is half the fun. Although, it doesn’t count unless it is well documented with cute photos.
Food
Something about this time of year demands that everything be flavored. Fall food selections cannot be topped. More than anything else, this season holds every college kids favorite holiday: The Weekend of Excessive Home Cooked Meals. If we can just make it through midterms we’ll be home faster than we can say ‘Thanksgiving Food Coma’.
Fright
Our pets won’t be the only one’s getting cozy and into character this season. Halloween movie marathons, costume parties, and haunted forests are all a given this time of year. These events go by fast but they define the beginning of the most wonderful time of year.
Festivals
Something that can combine all these things into one is fall festivals. These outdoor havens have guaranteed food, cozy attire requirements, are pet friendly, and may be in competition for best frightful and festive decorations ever. Music, community, and the overall spirit of the season complete the welcoming atmosphere. Everything we love about fall is present more than ever!
