On Tuesday, October 25 and Wednesday October 26 from 12:30pm-2:30pm, GMU Catholic Campus Ministry (CCM) will be holding their Pregnancy Resource Campaign in Southside Plaza to spread awareness of resources for pregnant women. These resources include but are not limited to counseling, pre-natal care, guidance, and other confidential services that pregnant women may need. CCM will also be spreading awareness of resources for post-abortion counseling and support.
When asked what inspired CCM to put on this campaign, CCM Peace and Justice Committee Leader Michele Haggard said, “There is such a need for these resources, and people don’t know that they’re there. When a student realizes that they’re pregnant, they [may] feel alone, along with so many anxieties and worries. But there are so many people that want to help in any way that they can to support that student. We just want people to know that.”
Below are some of the resources that CCM is advocating for.
