Rainbow Leaves

There are very few things more beautiful than the way that leaves transform in the fall. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to witness the trees change from green, to yellow, to red, to brown, and every color in between. Be sure to take a photo for your friends. After all, is fall even fall if there is no evidence of it on your Instagram account?

Sweater Weather

The best thing about this lovely season, hands down, is the fashion! The slight change in weather invites you to crack open those “fall clothing” bins and break out the long-sleeves, scarves, and riding boots. One of my favorite fall trends is the oversized knit sweater. This easy-to-wear fashion weapon is perfect for those days when you want to look stylish with minimal effort.

The P.S.L.

Introducing the star of the season, the Pumpkin Spice Latte. Each year, the return of fall means the return of the PSL, much to the excitement of 20-somethings everywhere. Starbucks certainly struck gold with the creation of this fall favorite in 2003.

Family Time

With all of the hustle and bustle of college life, it is always nice to get away and indulge in some time spent with family each fall. Whether you travel home for a fall break, Thanksgiving break, or both, there is nothing more rejuvenating than some R&R and awkward family photography with the ones who know you best and annoy you the most.

Baking

The typical college student’s favorite part of anything is usually edible. That’s why it is no surprise that we love to bake (and most importantly, to eat) sweet treats. It also doesn’t hurt that Pinterest serves as our loyal never-ending cookbook. Try this fun fall recipe with your roommates!
