Goals come with years of confusion, mistakes, and fears. Many times a goal can take years by studying a certain field, reading and fully understanding what you want to accomplish. Having small goals can help you be a better student and person. By accomplishing small goals and tasks, your life can go from hectic to peaceful. Goals are awesome, especially when you have the support and knowledge of a goal. Now, there are a few items you may want to start with to live out your goals.

1. Planner

My planner is my best friend — we go everywhere together! Having a planner can help you organize your life. By organizing your life, you can, and will, get twice as much done as if you didn’t have a planner. I would recommend planner shopping, it is my favorite time of year. Planner shopping is a time where you go shopping and research different planners. You can browse online, or in store, to pick the planner that works perfectly for you!

2. Dream Board

As a child, did you ever hang up pictures of boy bands on your wall and just dream away? This dream board may or may not be a tad different. My suggestion is to go big or go home. Being able to wake up and visualize your goals every morning can help you sustain your goal longer. You can start by cutting pictures or articles out of magazines or printing them from online. Being able to visualize will help you continue to strive towards your goal.

3. Keep a Journal

Keep a journal by your side at all times. Sometimes when looking towards a goal, you can get lost. By always having a journal by your side, you can document how you are feeling and why you are thinking a certain way. Not only can you look back and see growth, but it is a great tool to help others who want to set a sustainable goal.

Being able to have a goal is a healthy way of life. Not only will it make you happier, but the people around you will notice a difference too! I challenge you to make yourself a goal digger this year — get out there and change the world, one goal at a time!
