Five Places in Georgia for St. Patrick’s Day

1. Savannah, Ga

Festivities go from Friday, March 13 to Tuesday, March 17. There is the 191st St. Patrick’s Day parade as well as the St. Patrick’s Day Festival on River Street and in City Market and the Tara Feis Irish Celebration. Fun for families and adults!

2. Atlanta, Ga

131st annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 14th at noon on Peachtree St. in Midtown. The parade includes over 4,000 dancers, 16 bands, six floats, a five-story balloon and the world’s largest walking Irish flag! There is also the St. Patrick’s Parade 5K March 14th at 10:00 a.m. sign up on their Facebook page!

 

3. Atlantic Station

ShamRock the Station is a huge celebration filled with Irish dancing, face painting, balloon art, live music and fireworks on March 14th. This is perfect for a family or a fun date! 

4. Dublin, Ga

St. Patrick’s Festival celebrations are happening all month long. The main events are happening March 21st. These events include a hot air balloon fest, parade, leprechaun contest, road race, art and crafts and more! Admission and parking is free and pets are welcome!

5. Green Mile Midtown Pub Crawl

For those that are 21 years old or older make sure to be a part of the 5th Annual Green Mile Midtown Pub Crawl! Get your tickets now, they are $12.50 but will be $20 starting March 7th. This ticket includes admission into the venues, hosted drinks, beads, food and drink specials. Six bars are participating, register at RiRa Irish Pub!
