This costume will be legen – wait for it – dary! If you want to pull a HIMYM Halloween classic, wear Ted’s ballot costume and wait for your very own Slutty Pumpkin to appear. Feeling awesome and Canadian? Dress up like Robin Sparkles for Halloween! After all, all you need is some bright, tacky 80’s clothes and put “eh?” at the end of every sentence. Lastly, if you’re feeling snazzy, just spend hours agonizing over which suit is your best and dress like Barney. No one at the party will be better dressed than you.

Grab some scrubs, a white lab coat, and your person. You’re ready to be a doctor at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Have your very own Dr. McDreamy? Dress up like any of the couples on their fantastic wedding days. You can wear Christina’s red wedding dress from her wedding to Owen, or have your boyfriend carry around a post-it note and be Derek and Meredith. If you really want to go all out, be Jackson and April and leave some poor sap at the altar. The options are endless with this show.

It really doesn’t get any easier than The Office: add 3 paper circles to work-appropriate attire and you can be 3-hole punch Jim. Or write, “book” on your face and be Facebook. Hilarious and super low budget.

Grab an orange jumpsuit or a cop costume and you have your choice of almost any character you want on OITNB. When it comes to dressing like your favorite OITNB lady, it all comes down to the hair and accessories. Wanna be Red? Get some bright red hair-dye and an apron. Alex? Dark wig, glasses, and a tattoo sleeve. Crazy Eyes? Put your hair in little knots and bug your eyes out all night. If you want to be super adventurous, I would suggest dressing up like Pornstache. Because the creepy cop with a mustache makes just as funny of a costume as it does a character.

This is the perfect show to get a costume from if you want to scare the crap out of everyone. My suggestions include: the nun with the white face from Asylum, Moira the maid, Little Becky, any of the witches from Coven, or Elsa the ring-leader from Freak Show. Once you have your costume ready, just spend your night jumping out from the shadows and getting a laugh from all the people you scare.
