Summer time means lying out by the pool, hitting up happy hour, and keeping a pair of the cutest sandals on your feet at all times. Since we’re all college students and most likely don’t have the money to get a full manicure and pedicure whenever we want, sometimes we have to resort to doing our nails on our own. Giving yourself a DIY mani/pedi doesn’t have to be a one shade bore-fest; check out these perfect designs that you can try tonight to keep your nails looking bright, fresh, and fashionable:

Simple polka dots: Pick any shade you want and apply:
