Café Bagel: This bagel place is great and really close to the school. You can find Café Bagel right across route 9, over the bridge near University Pizza. They have bagels, breakfast sandwiches and beverages. Perfect place to grab a quick breakfast before class!
IMAX Theater: Well first off if you haven’t been to the AMC theater near the Natick Mall you should go (they have really comfy seats), but if you are looking for something bigger you definitely have to try the IMAX theater in Jordan’s Furniture across from Shopper’s World. IMAX can enhance the quality of your movie experience.
B Sisters Café: This coffee shop (formally know as Panache) can be found right across route 9 from Trader Joes, and can be easily walked to on back roads. B Sisters Café is a great relaxing place to spend the afternoon doing work while you enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. They have a variety of different flavors to choose from. They have a food menu so you can get breakfast or even lunch. They also have all sorts of different pastries to choose from (the chocolate croissant is really good!). My favorite to get while I am there are their crepes. They have awesome strawberry, banana and nutella crepes! You can get fruit crepes or they have other fillings to choose from as well.
Cushing Memorial Park: This Park is in walking distance from our school. If you walk past our new parking lot, Franklin, take a right at the lights, continue straight down Mount Wayte Ave and the park is on your right. It is a great place to walk to on a nice day and lounge in the grass. The area is perfect for walking, outdoor sports or picnics.
Farm Pond: The Farm Pond is another walking path that is located right across from Cushing Memorial Park. It is one simple path that follows down a pond. There is a cool section of the path that splits two bodies of water, so you can walk down the path totally surrounded by water on both sides. It is another great place to go to on a nice day and enjoy the outdoors.
J & M Diner: This diner is location in a plaza off of Constitution Street (Off route 30, near Target). This diner is fantastic. It is always super busy, so if you plan on going either plan to go early or be okay waiting a little for a table. But, they have great food. My favorite is their French toast, but they also have good omelets and all other breakfast food. They have all different kinds of flavors of different breakfast foods that sound so good. I highly recommend checking this place out!
Palettes: This is a place for paint nights that are usually for those who are 21 and older, with exceptions certain nights for those younger. It is located in downtown Natick. It is a lot of fun to get some friends together and spend a night here letting out your creative side!
Garden in the Woods: This is a really cool place to go to during blooming season. It is about a 15-minute drive from school, so if you have a way of transportation it is worth the visit. It has walking paths that go through the woods with little gardens full of flowers. If you like flowers, it is definitely something to check out!
So, if you are on campus and have nothing to do try wandering around Framingham outside of campus!
