Meet Molly Roach!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Framingham chapter.

As a freshman, it can be difficult to get involved and find your place on campus. That didn’t seem to be the case for Molly! Watching her complete her first year here at Framingham State, here are some questions that certainly embody her as whole (mind, body & spirit).

Major: Psychology

Minor: Criminology and Political Science

Year: Class of 2020

Hometown: Worcester, MA

Involvement: MISS, BSU, Symphonic Band, and SEALS starting in the Fall

What are you most looking forward to this summer?

Just hanging out and going to concerts!

What was your favorite thing that happened this year?

Meeting 4 of the most important gals in my life!

What was your favorite event on campus?

I’m a nerd, so I’d have to say all the forums in the CIE!

Who is your biggest role model on campus?

All the ladies in MISS

Coffee or tea?

Coffee

What show are you currently binge watching?

Dear White People!

What advice would you give to students next year?

Get out of your comfort zone as much as you possibly can!

What is your current theme song?

I’m the One (ft. Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper, Lil Wayne) by DJ Khaled

You are known as being very active for human rights. If you could make one immediate change to the world, what would it be? Why?

Wow that’s so hard. If I could end one thing with the snap of my fingers, it would be racism. I think that the majority of problems stem from systemic oppression so ending racism all together would prompt the end of other social issues, ex. The refugee crisis and islamophobia.

If you had to choose only one to wear for the rest of your life, would you choose high-waisted jeans or crop tops?

YOU ARE KILLIN ME. High-waisted jeans. I can just tuck in my shirts and still achieve that “hot mom” look, ya know.

What’s your favorite part of working at Build-A-Bear?

It’s so sappy but I really love all of my coworkers! I’ve only been there a short time but I feel so welcome and like a part of the family already. It’s nice to have cool people in your corner. Although, hanging out with Pikachu all is a CLOSE second.
