Why did you decide to go to Framingham State?

I decided to go to FSU because it was close enough to home that I could go home whenever I want. I also like the small campus because it reminded me of my high school.

Why did you join her Campus?

I joined Her Campus because I like to write and it was quite exciting that I could write about anything I wanted. I also liked that Her Campus Framingham is trying to start up a YouTube channel so I was hoping to help out with that.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time I like to hang out with my boyfriend: go for walks in the woods with him and my golden-doodle puppy. In the winter I love to ski, but also loves cuddling in a blanket with a movie and hot chocolate. In the summer I love traveling either to different states or countries.

What has been your favorite part of college so far?

My favorite part of college so far is having my own dorm. I usually keep it tidy, but if it gets messy I don’t have to listen to my mum tell me to tidy up. I love being able to sleep when I want and leave as I please.

What do you look forward to in 2017?

For the Spring and fall semester in 2017, I hope to do well in my classes and make more friends along with joining new clubs. For the summer of 2017, I really hope to travel around Europe.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, what’s the first place you would go?

The very first place I would go is Australia, to enjoy the beaches and try surfing and scuba diving! Then I would go to Spain and try to learn the language.

What is one thing you hope to accomplish in the next 5 years?

In the next five years, I want to graduate college and move someplace exciting and seek out new adventures!

How did you and your boyfriend, Vincent, meet?

Vincent and I went to school from 2nd grade to 12th grade. In 11th grade we did cross country together, but he didn’t know I existed! However, in 12th grade we noticed each other during cross country practice. We also had gym class twice a week together (needless to say, gym was my favorite class that year.) My school was very small so we always crossed paths and chatted between classes. Chatter turned into a few hangouts, and a few turned into many. In the end, I asked him, “What would you say if I asked you to prom?” So we went to prom and he ended the night with the question, “Can I have a kiss goodbye?” During the summer we hiked and boated and drove to NYC and partied until those warm nights turned to fall evenings. Now, Vincent attends Boston University, so he is only a commuter rail ride away.
