Christmas List for a College Student

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Framingham chapter.

To all parents, siblings, cousins, grandparents, significant others, etc., buying for a Christmas-celebrating college student this year, here is a list of simple things I know I would love.

Socks

To replace all those socks that get lost in the laundry and to keep our feet warm when we have to trudge across campus in the snow.

Money

This may seem like a cop-out gift but in reality, we need money now more than we needed it when we were 10.

Food

Any kind of food that will still be good to take back to school by the time break is over is a good gift in my eyes.

Gift Cards

Again, it might seem like a lame gift but I’m positive that college student would be happy with a gift card to just about anywhere whether it’s Target or Cheesecake Factory.

Room Fresheners

Who doesn’t like their dorm room to smell good?

Tumblers

Whether they’re the ones for hot liquids or cold, these are super useful when it comes to bringing coffee or tea to class.

Winter Apparel

More hats, scarves, and gloves are always greatly appreciated when walking to class in below zero weather.

I can’t promise that these gifts would satisfy every college student, but I think the majority of them would definitely appreciate these items!
