7 Times Parks and Rec Defined Your Last Semester of College

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Framingham chapter.

For many of us, graduation is just a few months away and the closer we get to the real world the scarier it is. Do not fret. There will be a point in the future where things will seem okay and manageable. And when we walk across that stage and pray to never see that Sam the Ram costume again you will be grateful that you made it through your college years. So yeah, it’s hard. And Parks and Rec is comedy gold and your last semester is… not. But hopefully the semi-relatable show will give you hope and remind you that you are not suffering alone. Here are some moments where Parks and Rec was too similar to your last semester.

1. Finding out you got a scholarship you forgot you applied for.

2. Interviewing for a job for after graduation like…

3. When your advisor asks why you aren’t writing a thesis.

4. When you tell your friends everything will work out but then panic about your own future.

5. You reach that point in the semester where you are overworked, overtired, and just done.

6. When you just don’t have an answer anymore.

7. Give yourself a pep talk.

Come on Class of 2017. We’ve got this.
