Last fall, I studied abroad in London. Upon reaching my apartment, I knew I would need to buy sheets, towels, and lots of other comfort items. I toyed with the idea of going to Zara Home, but my wallet said “no way.”  Then, I started hearing people talking about getting everything, I mean everything, they needed from a mysterious place called Primark. With locations all over London, and one conveniently down the street from our London flat, I knew I had to see for myself what the hype was all about.

This original Primark that I went to had three floors, all full of extremely affordable, high-quality clothes, accessories, and much more. I purchased a duvet cover, pillows, sheets, towels, a bath mat, and countless other home goods and decor. I also purchased a wallet, which I still use to this day. Throughout my time in London, “let’s just go to Primark” became a part of everyday conversation. Going out? Go grab a pair of heels at Primark. Need a suitcase to get all of your souvenirs home? Primark. (True story).

Basically, Primark is about to take over America, opening more and more stores in places like Boston and NYC. The clothes and accessories are so cute, so affordable, and you will never walk out of there empty-handed. Check out Primark on Staten Island, or at College Fashion Week, happening next week here in NYC. As an official sponsor, they are sending HC Fordham to the store to pick out outfits for CFW, so stay tuned for coverage on what we end up styled in!
