Sophomore Tony Fox (#75) appeared in more than half the games last season as a super talented freshman and will be a major component to the Rams’ defensive line this football season. If you could describe the football team in three words what would they be?
Intense, Passionate, Explosive
What’s your favorite football memory?
Winning the Patriot League championship game in OT against Bucknell. It was a rush of emotions that I cannot explain!
What is your favorite thing about Fordham?
Besides the landscaping, I love the people at Fordham. The friends and friendly faces I see everyday make it easy for me to wake up every morning.
What’s a surprising fact about you?
I hate scary movies. Although I am a big guy, scary movies can only be watched during a sunny day with other friends.
If you could be a cartoon character for 24 hours, who would you be?
I would love to be Jerry the mouse from Tom and Jerry! He is so clever and seems to always get things his way, no matter what! I appreciate Jerry’s craft of being able to out smart his opponent and live comfortably.
If you were to get a tattoo, what would it be?
It would have to be angel wings across my shoulder blades. It would be a great piece of art.
What’s your biggest phobia?
It would have to be bugs. I hate bugs. Anything creepy and crawly where it shouldn’t be is a no go! If I see a bug or spider, I must kill it.
What cheesy pick-up line always makes you laugh?
“Kissing burns 5 calories a minute. How about a workout?” This makes me laugh every time I hear something close to this.
What message would you like to put in a fortune cookie?
I’d like someone to open up a fortune cookie and read, “Stop searching for the ideal life. Craft your own destiny and live happily.
No lucky are numbers needed because I believe in you.”
If you could pick 3 celebrities to be your entourage, who would they be?
The first would be Leonardo DiCaprio. Who doesn’t love him? The second would be Derrick Rose, my favorite basketball player. Has his own clothing line and is an international sports figure. The third celebrity to be in my entourage would have to be Will Smith. He’s a great, positive guy that seems to go with the flow and can fit into any scene we are in.
If you had a theme song, what would it be?
This is a tough one… But I can’t go wrong with Kendrick Lamar’s song “Man of the Year.” Its a great song that can be played in almost any situation.
Do you have any advice for your fellow Rams?
Enjoy your college experience. I now have realized how fast it goes by. Take advantage of everything you can, especially exploring the city. I encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new!
