1. Sahana Holla, GSB’18

Junior, Sahana Holla, is possibly best known as a member of the all female a cappella group, Satin Dolls. (The girl is talented.) But she’s also a Style Guru for College Fashionista, where she’s had some amazing opportunities. Her advice for collegiettes is on point: “Never be afraid to do what you love.”

2. Erin Biggins, Fordham’s Sweetheart

Senior, Erin Biggins, is the girl that does it all at Fordham. From interning at Live with Kelly! to starting her own Special Olympics club at Fordham to being a member of CAB, she’s everywhere on campus. And she really is a sweetheart. Her advice to collegiettes, “Embrace every moment at Fordham as an opportunity to grow and meet new people.”

3. Jacob Dimenstein, GSB’17

Jacob Dimenstein is not only a senior, Finance major at Fordham, but he’s also a professional dancer. He’s danced for stars like Selena Gomez, Fergie, and Hailee Steinfeld. Jacob admits it’s a difficult balance between school and dance, but his advice for anyone who wants to pursue their passion is inspiring: “Pursue what you want, don’t conform to something you think you need to be. If you have a passion, a drive, see it through.”

4. Shannon Harman, GSB’17

Senior, Shannon Harman, is the CEO of Fordham’s Smart Women’s Securities. Her advice to young women in a male dominated field: “If you think there’s a barrier, you’ll be even more stressed about it. Be as aggressive as everyone else. Don’t let those preconceived notions hold you back, and don’t ever think you can’t do anything.”

5. Dean Parmach

He was your freshmen dean. He was your philosophy teacher. He might be running next to you on the treadmill at the gym. It’s Dean Parmach, enough said. 

Natalie is a senior at Fordham University where she is a Communications major, concentrating in Journalism. She's previously been a Public Relations Intern at Rent the Runway, a Features Editor at Seventeen Magazine, and an Editorial Intern at Dance Spirit Magazine. This semester, she has the opportunity to combine both of her passions, dance and journalism, as a Press Intern at the New York City Ballet. She continues to take class at the infamous, Broadway Dance Center as she hopes to enjoy her senior year to the fullest.
