Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, but it can also be one of the most hectic when it comes to holiday shopping. Finding the perfect gift for that special someone, while simutaneously trying to discover what to buy mom and dad is no easy task, especially when you have to bounce around from store to store to do so. However, with the holiday season in full swing, the various Christmas markets around NYC can be the best place to find a wide variety of gifts for a wide variety of people, all in one visit! These markets are the perfect place to buy gifts for your families and friends (or for youself because honestly, you deserve to treat yourself to a Christmas gift for surviving finals). With so many different options of markets to choose from, here are four that I feel are some of the best!

1. Grand Central Holiday Fair

Being so easily accessbile from the Fordham Rose Hill campus, the Grand Central Holiday Fair is not only convienent, but it is also a great place to find all different types of gifts. From beautiful jewelry and handcrafted wood creations, to unique kitchenware and children’s toys, you can definitely find a thoughtful and unique gift for everyone on your list.

2. The Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park

Offering not only holiday shops, but ice skating, delicious food vendors, and an observation deck as well, the Winter Village at Bryant Park is somewhere you can go to have a whole Christmas daytrip. Starting your day with ice skating and a chocolate covered waffle, and ending with Christmas shopping and some hot chocolate, is the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit.

3. Union Square Holiday Market

With so many different shops selling so many different products, the Union Square Holiday Market would be the perfect place to go if you still have no idea what you want to buy your friends and family for Christmas. After a day of strolling through this market, you’ll definitely be sure to find the perfect gift that you didn’t know you were looking for.

4. Artists & Fleas (Chelsea Market Holiday Shops)

From artisan food to vintage jackets, The Artists and Fleas Holiday Market really has the most unique and interesting products you could possibly think of. And when you’re finished shopping, you can reward yourself with an amazing meal at Chelsea Market for all of your hardwork and spending.
