The highly anticipated royal wedding is quickly approaching. The ceremony will be held on May 19, 2018 and I bet you can guess the one question that everyone’s asking. What will the stylish and sophisticated bride-to-be Meghan Markle be wearing down the aisle! We finally have a bit of insight on what the dream dress could look like.
It is thought that Meghan will be wearing two different dresses throughout the day; one more formal one for the ceremony, and a more casual one for the reception. Meghan has also already chosen the designer of her dress, which makes total sense considering the wedding is less than two months away!
Erdem, a British-Canadian designer, is rumored to be designing the dress. Some other rumored designers are Ralph & Russo, Roland Mouret, Alexander McQueen (who designed Kate Middleton’s dress!), Jenny Packham, and Inbal Dror. There are even some leaked dress designs from Inbal Dror! While these are all rumors and cannot be confirmed until the dress is revealed, it is confirmed that Victoria Beckham will not be designing the dress.
We do know that Meghan wants a dress that is conservative and formal, but also very romantic and whimsical. She wants to look classic and simple on her big day. While there are countless rumors and gossip being thrown around about this dress, one thing we can confirm is that Meghan will look incredible on her wedding day!
