She is the definition of a ray of sunshine.
Her Campus: Hometown?
Livia Nash: Williamsport, PA. The home of Little League Baseball.
HC: Major/minor?
LN: I’m a neuroscience major and a Spanish minor.
HC: What are you involved in on campus?
LN: I’m an HA in Ware, I’m the Secretary for Active Minds, I’m the Co-Planning Director for the Sophomore Class Cabinet, and I’m the Service Chair for PSP. I’m also a preceptor, I teach third grade science, and I’m a member in Ben Rush Pre-Health Honor Society.
HC: What are three words that your friends would use to describe you?
LN: I hope they would say that I’m honest, quirky, and considerate.
HC: If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
LN: I would time travel. I would never go forward, but I would only go back in time because I don’t want to see what’s in the future, I don’t want that to ruin what I’m doing now. I want to go back in time because I think there are a lot of great times and decades that I didn’t get to experience – specifically the 1920s because I want to be a flapper.
HC: Who or what inspires you?
LN: I think my friends’ accomplishments and goals are the “what” that inspires me because I have found a lot of driven and dedicated friends at F&M that I adore. The “who,” specifically, would probably be my parents. I know that’s cliché, but they’ve always encouraged me to do something different and to do what I really want to do and not what other people tell me to do.
HC: What’s your favorite movie?
LN: If I want to laugh, I’d have to say Hitch. I particularly love when Will Smith has an allergic reaction and his face swells up like a balloon.
HC: Do you have any fun plans for the summer?
LN: I’m going to Italy for five weeks to fulfill my Arts requirement and have actual, real pizza. Then I’m coming back to F&M to be an OPD to welcome the incoming class of 2020.
HC: What’s one thing that you couldn’t live without?
LN: Chocolate. Because I would have it three times a day and 24/7 if I could. Wait, that didn’t have to be a food, did it? Then I would say my dog Theodore. Because who doesn’t love a dog who wears a tux?
HC: What actress would you want to play you if your life was made into a movie and why?
LN: Sandra Bullock, hands down. I LOVE that woman. I think she has been all over the place, she’s played a lot of different roles. And who wouldn’t want her to play you after she’s been in The Blind Side?
HC: Favorite ice cream flavor?
LN: Mint chocolate chip with Oreos in it.
HC: Ben or John?
LN: Ben Franklin because I like his life quotes, and I use quotes all the time to get me through my weeks at F&M.
