It’s about half way through the semester and you are dying to eat anything but stir-fry at the dining hall. Luckily, Lancaster is host to a number of amazing restaurants, including some within blocks of our campus. But walk an extra fifteen minutes downtown and you will find even more options. Now that I am a senior, I tend to venture downtown to find any last hidden treasures before I graduate. One of my top places recently is the Lancaster Dispensing Co. right next to Central Market.
While the Dip Co. has a number of great drink specials that may target the over 21 crowd, it’s nice cozy pub vibe is welcoming to the under 21 crowd as well. Go on Mondays for dollar taco night or swing by for lunch for their delicious hamburgers. The best part of Dip Co. is that you can easily get a nice hearty burger or sandwich for under 10 dollars. Plus if you still have room for dessert, you can swing by Carmen & David’s for a cone or the newly opened Lancaster Cupcake Store.
