Is that cold weather getting you down?
Well now remember Thanksgiving break is beginning
So be ready to fill your stomachs to the rim,
I can’t wait to see what my grandmother’s cooking will bring.
I can already smell that pumpkin pie
So F&M goodbye!
Though the break be but short, it be truly needed
Professors may sack us with homework
Not understanding the definition of a “Break,”
But don’t hate!
Pour yourself some wine
As you watch that turkey in the oven begin to shine.
Yes this is corny
But you were forewarned
No don’t let that turkey burn.
Take some extra gravy, or some cranberry sauce
Don’t let your stomach feel at loss.
This is that time of year where we must stuff our face
And show off that food baby with grace.
So grab some more turkey, pie, whipped cream and the likes.
If you have leftovers than you didn’t do thanksgiving right.
So eat and sleep to your hearts delight
