Following the revelation this week of the first Ginger to reach the BNOC finals, we thought we would continue the trend and treat you to our first ginger Campus Cutie. President of the Caledonian Society, which has it’s ball this Friday, Tom is a final year Engineering student.

How did you get involved in Cal Soc?
Having been to Scotland regularly all my life, I thought it was only fair to bring my skills to the Exeter reeling scene. I was keen to get involved in it when I started, and it turned out I knew the president when I was in freshers from school. I spoke to him at the end of the year and managed to get onto the committee for second year.
Where are we most likely to find you?
Depending on the time of day, either holed up in Harrison or by the bar in Mosaic, downing VKs, or else in the ‘Club’ drinking whisky with the boys! Either there or grooming my magnificent ‘tash’.

Unfortunately my skills don’t extend past the reeling dances. I’ve been banned from the floor so end up at the bar!
What would be your perfect date?
Firehouse is hard to beat, and its probably my favourite place in Exeter for a date, other than that, the new tapas place Forn has some fantastic food and a great atmosphere.
