I Ordered from SheIn and was Pleasantly Surprised

Are they legit? Like a bikini for $10…is it too good to be true?

I like shopping, I mean who doesn’t. I also like deals and sales. That being said when SheIn popped up on my Facebook feed with their insane sales and really cute bathing suits I couldn’t resist. I knew that a lot of the times these companies were too good to be true and their products were actual crap. However, I wanted to find out for myself.

I found a bunch, and I mean A LOT of items I wanted, but ultimately decided on a one piece bathing suit, a bikini, and a crop top.

The two bathing suits I ordered (pictured below) were surprisingly really cute in person as well. The fit of the red one was slightly off on the sides but other than that it was great. Of course any bathing suit for $10 or less isn’t going to be the best quality material. You get what you pay for.

Let me tell you that the ties at the top are actually ties. If those untie you probably screwed, but lucky because of the material I doubt they’d untie that quickly. You’d probably feel it happening before it’s too late. It a gorgeous color. Nice to pair with a floppy white or tan beach hat and some stylish sandals.

Striped Ruched Detail Bikini Set

This one is totes adorbs if I do say so myself. I love stripes and I love this pale blue color. It just looks so clean to me, like a nicely decorated beach house utilizing those exact colors for the theme. The ties are also wicked cute. I can’t wait to be on the beach taking hella cute pics in the bikini. I got it for $8! Like yes that does seem too good to be true, but hey if you want multiple bathing suits and don’t want to pay extra this site is a must!

They have awesome sales all the time. It only took about a week to get delivered which is not bad for these “sketchy Facebook companies” that you hear about orders taking months to arrive.

Lastly, I purchased this crop top which I love the neckline of. SHEIN Scallop Trim Halter Top

I will say the top is a little tight to get on so I reckon their clothes run small. So maybe next time I’ll opt for flowy shirts and dresses. I’ve heard other reviews saying they run small and their dresses run short, but they’re still really cute and definitely affordable. I also did some more research, you know reading blog posts, other Her Campus articles, and watching some Youtube videos naturally, and found that lots of times it’s a hit or miss whether you love or hate an item.

They do allow free returns, with the exception of bodysuits, lingerie & sleepwear, swimwear, jewelry, and accessories.

So I was pleasantly surprised at how these items turned out. I think every college woman should order from SheIn at one point because of their cute, affordable fashion, but just remember you get what you pay for!
