Spring is finally here! With temperatures hitting the upper 60s this week and March 21 signaling the first day of spring, it’s time to bust out your spring kicks and prepare for the warm weather ahead. Even though Atlanta’s been having warm weather occasionally (aka when it was a sunny 70 degrees on Saturday), it’s still been fluctuating a bit, and it’s not quite sandal weather yet. Instead of hitting up your classic converse and ballet flats, try something funkier on your feet while you await the time where your sandals don’t have to stay in their boxes at the bottom of the closet.

Slip-on sneakers have been everywhere this season. Not only are they super comfortable and functional, but they’re totally cute too. They look great in pretty much any fabric (suede, pony hair, leather and cloth alike). Try black pony hair or perforated leather for extra edge and pair them with pants or leggings cropped right above the ankle, a silky tank top, and your favorite sunglasses while we wait for the consistently warm weather to finally arrive.

Espadrille flats are also a great pairing for Spring. They work well with casual outfits and look great with pretty much anything. Try pairing them with a breezy dress and cozy sweater layer with a jean jacket for the perfect season transition outfit.
