How to Style a Dress in 3 Different Ways

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emory chapter.

There are plenty of dresses in your closet that you’ve probably worn once and let it hang there since then. Why not switch it up? Wear a dress with knee-high boots, style it with a leather jacket ma—you can mix up your wardrobe and create new looks with only one dress. Here’s three different ways to style one dress. Reformation’s Feliz dress is the perfect example.

1.   Casual/Brunch Attire

Going to the new museum with friends next weekend and want to keep it trendy but effortless? Try it with sandals and a denim jacket. Perfect for walking around all day in—no sleeves are key for warmer temperatures.

2.   Office-Appropriate

Dresses are the best option to wear to your internship this summer—fashionable, appropriate, and lightweight. You don’t need to worry about getting hot and sticky in your office space. Wear it over a simple tee or white button-down. Add some ballet flats or loafers for the more sophisticated look you need to pull off at work.

3.   Night Out

This dress can also hold up for a date night. Flattering your long legs and collar bone, this dress is loose but flirtatious. Wear it to dinner with your new love interest or to a cool nightclub with your gal pals. Pair it with strappy heels and a choker necklace and you’ll be ready to hit the town.
