Dreaming of Spring (Gladiator) Sandals

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emory chapter.

It’s never too early to start planning your outfits for your spring break vacay considering most of us will be traveling to warmer weather – hello sandals – so we can all wave goodbye to all the boots we’ve been wearing! It’s time for a mandatory mani-pedi to kick off the approach of spring break, and what better way to show of your cute new pedis than with a pair of GLADIATOR SANDALS. These shoes are the ultimate spring break essential and are mandatory for basically EVERY outfit!! They look great with everything and give everyone the instant legs for days look.

(1)  GLADIATOR SANDAL, Stuart Wetizman ($398). Stuart Wetizman is the king of gladiator sandals, so obviously my first two picks had to be some of his classic styles. This basic gladiator is the first pair every girl should own – it’s the simple and cleanest gladiator style. The gold (Cava Nappa) color is the perfect amount of sheen without being over the top, and is complete with gold studs on the side of the knee-high sandal.

(2)  SPARTA GOOSEBUMP GLADIATOR SANDAL, Stuart Weitzman ($498). This metallic leather gladiator comes in a gold/cream color (Ale) with crisscross leg straps that lace up at the top of the sandal. And they’re super easy to put on with a side zip. These glitter sandals add a touch of glamour to any outfit.

(3)  ATHEN GLADIATOR SANDAL, Steven Madden ($79.95). For those of us who love a short gladiator sandal, the Athen is your perfect choice. This neutral-hued sandal is comfortable with its elastic around the ankle and easy to slip into with a side-zip. This sandal comes in a snakeskin print.

(4)  LINA LACE UP SANDAL, Schutz ($200). This leather lace up sandal comes in a black and cream snakeskin print or black suede. This is the perfect short gladiator with gold capped heels.
