Packing 101By April 17, 2013 - 12:00am Did you ever notice that by the end of the year you have way more stuff in your room than you started with in August? And while we’re all in denial about the end of the school year (is it okay that I’m pretending that I’m not graduating?), it’s time to start thinking about cramming everything you own into some bags to bring home. Diets and Detoxes and Drinks, Oh My!By April 14, 2013 - 9:20pm In light of the awful news and scandals about the obesity epidemic and the world falling off the “healthful” cliff, there has been a new emergence: juicing. Some do it for a detox, some do it to lose weight, others just want a change--and then there are the devoted veggie and fruit lovers (debatable). The PosterFuse FoundersBy April 13, 2013 - 10:15pm Emory juniors Stephanie Chan, Michael Simon, and Denver Rayburn were driving back from lunch during move-in week in August when they began discussing how they had so many photos from their summer vacations, but could not think of a fun way to display them in their apartments. In the timeline of this past weekend: We welcomed the Final Four NCAA teams to Atlanta. We welcomed friends of friends of the Final Four teams to crash on our couches. We welcomed a killer free concert series featuring Macklemore, Dave Matthews Band, and other amazing performers. We welcomed the jealously-infused gushes over the delightful warmth of our finally-springtime Atlanta weather. We welcomed the opportunity for overpriced tickets to the Georgia Dome to fall into our most-prized possessions. READ MORE |
