Her Campus at Emmanuel: What made you choose to join EC Habitat?
Simone Thibault: The reputation of the club and the opportunity to serve in new ways
HCE: What are you most looking forward to on the spring break trip?
ST: Traveling to a new area, making new connections, and meeting the families who we are helping.
HCE: What does it mean to you to know that you are making a difference in someone’s life?
ST: Everyone needs a helping hand at some point in their life, and I was always taught to “pay it forward”
HCE: What is your favorite thing to do (or what you hope to do) on the build?
ST: My dad is a carpenter, so I like learning new build-skills and bragging to him about it
HCE: Favorite memory with EC Habitat?
ST: Eating 6 slices of pizza on our lunch break at the last build
HCE: What is a mantra or quote that you live by?
ST: It doesn’t take much to be kind, so why not do that!
