Her Campus at Emmanuel: What made you choose to join EC Habitat?
Micaela Almeida: I wanted to try something new that interested me.
HCE: What are you most looking forward to on the spring break trip?
MA: Meeting new people and experiencing Colorado for the first time.
HCE: What does it mean to you to know that you are making a difference in someone’s life?
MA: It makes me feel like I’m capable of making an impact and I feel accomplished.
HCE: What is your favorite thing to do (or what you hope to do) on the build?
MA: Get my hands dirty and have fun!
HCE: Favorite memory with EC Habitat?
MA: I’m a freshman, so I don’t have many yet. Probably the last meeting, so far.
HCE: What is a mantra or quote that you live by?
MA: Don’t forget to love yourself.
