Julia Curiale: It’s an organization I’ve always wanted to be a part of and Emmanuel provided me with that opportunity
HCE: What are you most looking forward to on the spring break trip?
JC: Making friends and connections, exploring a new area, and learning new things :)
HCE: What does it mean to you to know that you are making a difference in someone’s life?
JC: People say that you can’t complain about your situation or your world without putting in effort to make a change to see that world become better. Also, it’s important to not live in your past situations and to always be aware of the situations of everyone around you.
HCE: What is a mantra or quote that you live by?
JC: “Be the change you wish to see in the world,” and, “Get better not bitter.”
