How it Feels to Be Done with the Semester, As Told by The Devil Wears Prada

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emmanuel chapter.

There comes a point in mid to late april when I reach a new level of frustration, exhaustion, and overall “done-ness” with the semester. The Devil Wears Prada has many quotable moments that relate to the “done” college student.

When professors start hurling assignments at you as if you don’t take any other classes or have a job or participate in extracurriculars.

Trying to give a presentation after a whole semester of confusion.

When are your finals? Where are you working this summer? Where are you living next year?

End of the Spring semester means allergy season and stress colds. The coughing and sneezing is EVERYWHERE.

Everything makes you angry. You have 2 tutoring appointments, a review session after class, homework due at 5:00pm, and a meeting at 6:30pm. You do not have time for slow walkers.

Sometimes you just have to reassure yourself that despite the stress, you chose your major for a reason.

And although homework and finals are piling up, remember the magic that summer brings and the excitement of a new semester in the fall.
