What’s the best thing about Emerson? The experience you get from the extra-curricular activities, the things outside of your classes. That’s where you get the experience in the field you’re interested in. It’s also where you can meet great people.
What organizations are you a part of? Emerson Lions Spirit Squad, Emerson Dance Company, EIV News at 6 and EIV News at 9, WEBN’s J-Channel, and I also volunteer at the Admissions Center.
What’s the hardest part of being a journalism major? Walking up to random people on the street and trying to get them to listen to you. I don’t like talking to strangers and it makes me anxious when I have to get something like that done by a certain due date.
Where do you see yourself in five years? Working for a local TV station or a late-night talk show, probably in Los Angeles (my native land). Living in an apartment with a small dog. And having the same hairstyle.
What is something no one knows about you? I have a half brother that lives in Canada and a niece and nephew named LJ and Isabella. They’re 6 and 3 respectively.
What is your Halloween costume this year? I have a couple, but my main costume is Tina from Bob’s Burgers. I’ll also probably be a pumpkin and some of my suitemates want to be the Sanderson sisters from Hocus Pocus.
Words to live by? THIS IS LIFE AND WE’RE JUST LIVING IT.
