Campus Cutie: Danielle Zarachowicz

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emerson chapter.

Name: Danielle Zarachowicz

Age: 18

Major: Writing, Literature and Publishing

Favorite thing about Emerson so far: “My favorite thing about Emerson is definitely the people. I feel right at home with everyone I meet. I feel a connection to everyone, we’re all so individual. Everyone knows what they want to do, and I love that kind of energy. It’s really motivating.”

Favorite hobbies: She loves photography, writing, listening to music and reading.

Favorite books: One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest by Ken Kesey, Wuthering Heghts by Emily Brontë

Favorite food: Italian. Specifically Bova’s Pastries, in the North End.

Favorite spot in Boston: “One of my favorite things about Bosotn is going to the North End, and getting pastries there. I love Harvard Square, and just going by the water – the Harbor Walk at night. It’s absolutely amazing. This fall was the most beautiful fall I’ve ever experienced. Baltimore City does not have falls like Boston does.”

Favorite quote: From the TV show Harold and Maude:

“You see, Harold, I feel that much of the world’s sorrow comes from people who are *this*,

[she points to a daisy]

yet allow themselves be treated as *that*

[she gestures to a field of daisies].”
