It’s the most wonderful time of the year again-fashion week. It’s the week where designers, models, and celebrities alike flock together in major cities to get a taste of what they’ll be wearing in the months to come. For the rest of us commoners, it’s a time to drool over all the beautiful things that we can only dream of storing in our closet one day. Unfortunately, following fashion week can be a full-time job, which coincides with classes starting up-major bummer. Luckily for you, we’ve gathered the best of your New York Fashion Week favorites so you can catch up on your style and your homework this week!
Kate Spade
We love Kate Spade’s earthy vibe from their new collection. Their look for spring is all about going back to nature-and they’re not subtle about it either! How cute is this frog bag? Fall hasn’t even begun and we’re already dying for spring so we can rock these looks!
Tory Burch
Prints, on prints, on prints-oh my! Tory Burch debuted its spring collection featuring plenty of these-from stripes to floral to everything in between. The only thing that wasn’t in between was the lengths-it was all short shorts or full-length skirts. Still, these pants are worthy of a museum-or our closet!
Vera Wang
Back to black…and dare I say, peplum about sums up Vera Wang’s upcoming collection. While one does not usually associate black as a spring and summer color, the reality is that it’s a universally flattering color that we could all use more of in our lives. We could also use more fit and flare, which thankfully, Vera has included in her new collections, which is heavy with belts that nip in at the most flattering places. Thanks Vera, for bringing back this trend.
Michael Kors
We are obsessed with Michael Kors’ spring collection. It features a little bit of everything, from bright, cheery prints to sleek monochromatic white. Mini skirts, midi-skirts, harem pants, and even pea coats are represented here. Personal favorite looks include this floral skirt and dress shirt combo-can we just skip to spring so this can be in season already?
