Gust-o Dry Bar Review

By Erin Appenzoller
May 2, 2013 - 2:16pm

Last Saturday I had the opportunity to visit Gust-o, dry bar on Newbury Street that offers blowouts, makeup applications, private parties, and even moisturizing paraffin treatments.  The unforgettable bright pink and red-orange accents of the salon had me immediately enamored, but when I was greeted by a friendly and charming woman offering me a seat along with coffee, tea, or water after I gave her my name, I knew I was in for a memorable experience. How to be Friends with Benefits

By Alicia Lazzaro
April 24, 2013 - 4:03pm

We’ve all seen it done in the movies and on TV: friends with benefits. It usually has the same dramatic arc. Friends realize that they have some serious sexual tension, act on it and agree to continue the charade but promise to keep it simple and not let emotions get involved. But nine times out of ten, one person ends up falling for the other and either they get their heart broken or the two end up together in committed bliss.   The world is full of many amazing places to travel to. Between relaxing beach-destinations, bold jungles adventures, and educational city explorations, it’s hard to choose what kind of trip to go on. Tuesday: A Mid-Spring's Winter Rain

By Erin Appenzoller
April 23, 2013 - 1:38pm

So, it's cold and rainy today...in the middle of spring.  Mother Nature clearly thinks it's necessary to throw one (I hope) last day of winter at us before we have a lovely day in the low 70's tomorrow.  I'm not letting the weather defeat me today.  I pulled out my floral skinnies and put on a bright coral light sweater to dress for spring and bundled up with my olive Rainforest winter coat and huge infinity scarf to protect from the the cold air and sprinkles. A Glitter Guide

By Chelsea Evered
April 22, 2013 - 2:54pm

Hey girls!!! If you're anything like me, you're slightly glitter-crazed. And by crazed, I mean you are the girl who wakes up and finds a nice layer of the sparkly substance all over your room, face, body, clothes, and phone. Since I'm right there with you, I decided I might as well share some of my glitter tips. There are many different ways to be glittery other than by wearing clothing with it. There's shimmer, eyeliner, eye shadow and body glitter. Let’s start with liner. READ MORE
