Spring is coming in a few weeks, but the way I see it, until I can wear flip flops outside, it’s still winter to me. Here are some great winter recipes to try out in our last few weeks of winter!

Bacon and Herbs Mac ‘n’ Cheese

Mac ‘n’ cheese screams comfort food and winter. It’s seriously the best thing to eat when it’s the least bit cold or rainy out. Check out this classic homemade mac ’n’ cheese recipe that only takes 30 minutes! It almost seems too good to be true. Want to get even more comfortable? Add the bacon! This dinner is the ultimate quick, comfort food. Check out the recipe!

Inside-Out Lasagna

This recipe is a fun one. So take all the basic (but amazing) ingredients we absolutely love about lasagna – pasta, tomatoes and ricotta cheese – and instead of layering the ingredients and baking it for what feels like forever, try this super easy and super tasty version. And the best part? This meal only takes 30 minutes to make! Get the recipe here.

Chicken Tortilla Soup

If you live off campus and have the ability to make soup, you NEED to take advantage of that! Soup is great for a snack or full a meal, and it’s super fun to make. This recipe is medium-spicy, so if you’re looking for something to really warm you up on these winter nights, set your taste buds on fire with this recipe!

Pita Pizza

Everyone loves pizza (right?!), but you don’t want to always have to go out of your way to get a slice alone! Well, if you have a toaster, have no fear! Pita pizza is here! Since I found this article, I have not been able to stop making pizza. And what’s great about making your own pizza is you can totally add how much or little of the ingredients as you want. Not so crazy about tomato sauce? Put a little less in. Want more cheese? Duh! Add more cheese! Plus, there are so many different toppings you can have fun with! Check out the easy and amazing recipe.

Chicken Parmesan Baked Ziti

Did someone say YAASSS? Because this meal sounds amazing. When you think of your favorite Italian meals, of course you think of chicken parmesan and then you think of baked ziti, but never together! This recipe is actually pretty easy, and it only takes 45 minutes! This would be a great dish if you’re staying in for a movie night with the girls or making a meal for your family. No one really likes winter, but the cold weather can be made a little better if you have some tasty food to look forward to!
