Why she became involved in Her Campus?
“I love working for lifestyle publications and Her Campus was a great way to publish some of my writing. It’s really a great networking organization.” There is even a conference that is held in New York over the summer, where Her Campus members from different schools gather and network with a panel of journalists from different magazines.
What else is she involved in on campus?
In addition to being involved in Her Campus, she also works for The Edge magazine, and is a member of Alpha Omicron Pi.
What does she like to do in her free time?
When Kayla has some free time she likes to cook and bake, go for smoothie bowls, and drive with all the windows down. Kayla likes to spend time with friends regardless of what they are doing.
What is her favorite part of Her Campus?
“I love leading a group of women who are passionate about what they do and fun to be around!”
What are her plans for Her Campus in the future?
“For my future involving Her Campus, I want to partner with more organizations on campus and local businesses to hold special events.”
What advice she would give to girls looking to get involved?
