How did you choose your major? I grew up very interested in art and all things creative. I was really involved in the fine art programs at my high school, but I’d like to pursue digital art in some way as a career.

What are you involved in on campus? Public Relations for eTalk (Elon’s entertainment news talk show), The Edge magazine, Zeta Tau Alpha, LEAD program, E

What is your favorite part about Elon University? My favorite part about Elon has been the connections and relationships I’ve been able to make. Elon has been an incredibly supportive environment for me both socially as well as academically.

When did you become interested in modeling? I was really, really young when I was first introduced to the idea of it. I was probably about ten when I was stopped at a mall kiosk scouting models and actors. I actually started working when I was fourteen, which is when I was signed with my first local manager in Maryland.

How did you pursue your modeling career? I was a really shy kid growing up and took a pretty conservative approach to modeling when I was in high school, with small jobs here and there on weekends and breaks from school, getting progressively more frequent as I got older. I decided that I was ready to take a bigger step when I was a senior in high school and move to New York City for fashion week. It was a fascinating experience where I was able to meet some incredible people and learn a lot about myself.

What has been your favorite shoot and why? My favorite shoot I did was when I was sixteen in Central Park during my spring break from school. The shoot was a test shoot that ended up being picked up by Vogue Italia. It was a weird feeling for me because I had never done a shoot in such a public place. I was climbing trees and running around the Park, which was a huge contrast to shoots indoors in studios. It was a ton of fun and an awesome memory for me.

How does it feel to be on the cover of The Edge? It’s a little weird seeing my face around campus! It was a really, really awesome experience to be able to meet and work with everyone on The Edge. Everyone involved is incredibly talented and passionate about what they’re doing, which really shows in the quality of the issues they’ve put out.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? That’s an excellent question! If I am being completely honest, I don’t have a super clear picture of where I’ll be in ten years. As clichéd as it may sound, I’d like to say that I’d be really happy wherever I am–that’s my main goal!
