What made you decide to study these subjects?: "I’m doing biology pre-vet and I just continued with Spanish because I liked it during high school and I knew I wanted to study abroad."
Where did you study abroad?: "Seville, Spain."
Interesting fact: "I’ve traveled to 16 different countries, mostly through Eckerd."
Three words to describe yourself: "Ambitious, personable and energetic."
Campus involvement: "RA, director of residential affairs for ECOS, teachers assistant for zoology, Student Community Standards Board, pre-health club, and herpetology club."
Interests and hobbies: "Sports, I like playing more than watching. I also enjoy volunteering at the Marine Mammal Pathobiology Lab; I had the opportunity to do necropsies on manatees, a giraffe and hammerhead sharks there."
Hidden talents: "I am extremely flexible. I was a diver in high school and I can put my foot over my head."
Any set plans for after graduation?: "I am moving back up to Boston and I am trying to get a veterinary technician position. Hopefully, I’ll be working for a year or two and then applying for vet school, that’s the trajectory."
Dream job: "I would love to be a wildlife veterinarian."
Favorite quote or advice: "Especially in college, the thing I have realized is that there is something to be learned in every experience, there is always an opportunity to learn. I will take that with me wherever I go."
Any deal breakers in a relationship?: "I really don’t like ditzy girls; personality and intelligence are really important. Someone who can maintain an intellectual conversation is essential."
