Senior Year at Duke As Told By Michael Scott

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Duke chapter.

Returning to campus and fondly recalling the tender moments from your first three years, such as your first DFMO or when the bouncer at Devine’s was stabbed

Going out to O-week parties or riding the C1 during the first week of classes and being asked which dorm you live in

Deciding to venture to Shooters on the Saturday night of O-week and immediately regretting your decision upon seeing the line

Seeing how skinny all the freshman girls are and reminiscing about a time before you discovered the joys of drinking and late-night eating

But then remembering your love for both pizza and wine, and vowing to show your body the unconditional love it deserves

Going to campus after 5p.m. or during the weekend and being able to park in the Allen lots

Hearing people talk about going into consulting after graduation and wondering what the hell that is

West Union finally opening after 3 long years

Realizing that all of the food in West Union is actually hella pricey and not being able to afford it since you live off campus and no longer have mountains of food points to spend

Finding a spot in Miracle lot or Blue Zone 3

Being less than halfway through senior year and having the Duke Annual Fund hit you up for donations

Trying to accept the fact that staying at Duke for another year is not an option while simultaneously remaining in complete denial that our time at Duke is almost over

Despite us wanting it to last sooooooooo much longer

So good-bye dear old Duke, at least for now, we love you
