At home, the beginning of fall was marked by the first football game you donned a NorthFace. But at Duke we mark our seasons a but differently. Here is a list of the top seven:
1. Pumpkin-flavored everything
Lattes, muffins, frozen yogurt, Pop Tarts, M&Ms and yes – Pringles.
2. The click clack of boots in Perkins as you study for…
3. The dreaded midterms.
4. Honey Crisp apples arrive on (and then disappear from) the shelves of Whole Foods.
5. Infinity scarves, because the fun never ends.
6. The leaves don’t change color – they just give up.
7. Movie nights, because it’s just too cold for Southerners to go out.
8. The beginning of the reign in Basketball.
