The Harry Potter series or your week at Duke?

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Duke chapter.

Monday:

Harry is excited and nervous for the week ahead, but the pop quiz in his 8:30 makes him think that one of his professors is out to get him. Little does he know, the professor he really needs to worry about is the one who seems to have eyes in the back of his head.

Tuesday:

After some transportation troubles and arriving late to class, Harry is grateful and relieved to have the smartest girl in the class helping him on a tough research project. But when she becomes very sick he suddenly realizes how much material he has to learn and how much work he has to do.

Wednesday:

Harry decides to go out tonight, but later he wishes he could turn back time and rethink his choices.

Thursday:

Harry participates in a club sports tournament, which he thinks will be fun but it becomes a little too intense for his liking.

Friday:

Harry has some mysterious daydreams as he tries to stay awake during his last class of the week. His dreams lead him to a wild adventure Friday night, but he will definitely need to sleep this one off in the morning.

Saturday:

Harry begins to follow an anonymous advice giver on Yik Yak, but later is shocked to find out it’s actually his professor. Meanwhile, love is in the air, but jealousy spikes due to budding romances in the same friend group. By the end of a very long night, Harry knows he’s going to be busy the next day accomplishing some hefty tasks.

Sunday:

Harry realizes that his procrastination has caught up with him, and all of the sudden there are seven due dates looming over him. When he succeeds in the end despite the losses of many things he wishes he did not have to sacrifice, he feels as though he has magical powers.
