1. If you could meet and have dinner with a cartoon character, who would it be and why?

Garfield. We’re both very passionate about lasagna and napping. I have a feeling we’d get along well.

2. Which Olympic sport do you think you’re most qualified to medal in?

Probably racewalking. Between the back to back classes on West and East, I’ve become a pro.

3. What is the best way to end your day?

Watching the sunset, preferably on the beach. It never gets less impressive, no matter how many you’ve seen.

4. Since it is that time of year, what’s your favorite holiday tune?

Literally anything off of Michael Buble’s Christmas album. Basic, I know.

5. What is your favorite drink to have on a cold day?

I’m self-proclaimed chocoholic, so a hot chocolate is always the move. Or peppermint mocha latte.

6. What’s the worst part about being away from home?

It’s really hard missing my little brothers grow up, but I visit home as often as I can.

7. What has been the most rewarding experience you’ve had because of Duke?

This past summer, I traveled throughout Italy for a month and studied food. If that’s not the dream, then I don’t know what is.

8. What is your spirit animal?

Definitely a dolphin. They’re very harmonious and intuitive, and the ocean is essentially my second home.

9. What’s one item you won’t leave your room without?

My super fancy Contigo water bottle. It holds 24 oz. of water, my keys, and my ID, and is easily the most useful object I’ve ever owned.

10. Favorite game to play growing up?

Manhunt was the best. Mostly because I had the best hiding spots staked out and it required minimal effort to win.

I am a senior at Duke University studying psychology and history, and I have been writing with Her Campus since I was a freshman. Having this incredible community of empowering women to build me up when I need support and to give me an outlet when I need to vent has been one of the greatest aspects of my Duke career! I am so sad to leave them soon, but I am excited to pursue my J.D. at Georgetown in the fall!
