How Kendall Jenner is Living Her Best Life

Her face is one of the most recognizable in the world – to millennials, at least. She comes from one of the world’s famous families, the Kardashian-Jenner clan, and is considered modern-day American royalty. However, at the young age of seven years old, Kendall Jenner knew that she was going to hustle to achieve her ultimate goal, becoming a supermodel. In one of the early episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kendall went to her parents with a stapled book of her modeling photos printed out on computer paper to show that she was serious about getting started on her career. Her mother, Kris Jenner, says of Kendall, who was 14 years old at the time, “Kendall’s actually talked about wanting to be a model for a really long time, but I just didn’t know she was this serious about it!” It seems like the oldest Jenner daughter has accomplished exactly what she wanted and more because she is now a household name.

There was a lot of controversy at first when Kendall’s first professional modeling photos started making their way onto the Internet because they were considered too scandalous for her age (she was 14 years old at the time). People also like to point out the fact that Kendall’s career was given to her by her family because of their fame, connections and money. While she may have been able to score some amazing gigs due to her family’s network, especially in the fashion industry, it is important to remember that from the beginning, Kendall made it clear that she wanted her modeling career to be her own and not influenced by her family. She even made it as far as to tell her family to not attend the runway shows she was walking in sometimes. For a girl who doesn’t know a normal life, she wanted to be treated like everyone else.

Let’s also not forget Kendall’s major hustle. Ambition and determination absolutely cannot be bought or given to you by anyone. It is a fire that ignites inside you and when you are passionate about something, it is only natural that you will work so hard until you finally achieve your goals. The media pokes fun at how the Kardashian-Jenners have “no talent”, but Kendall has risen to the top of the modeling world in only seven years, having walked for Chanel, Givenchy, Michael Kors, Victoria’s Secret and many more. She has also graced the covers of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Marie Claire Indonesia, to say the least. Kendall has claimed modeling as her own, branching away from her family to delve into a career she loves.

It is also worth noting that Kendall is notoriously private and sometimes shy about her personal and love lives. That is very respectable because as much as anyone can Google information about her, there are some aspects of her life that are better kept to herself. She doesn’t flaunt as much as her other sisters and is so laser-focused on always improving herself and her career.

So, here’s to Kendall Jenner and recognizing her for being a girl boss and lowkey our favorite member of the Kardashian-Jenners. Famous people still have to work too and even though her career seems super glamorous, she achieved it all on her own and we can’t wait to see what the modeling powerhouse does next!
