5 Girl Scout Cookie Recipes You Must Try

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Drexel chapter.

It’s that time of the year again: Girl Scout Cookie season. As if these cookies couldn’t get any tastier eating them straight out of the box, we’ve compiled a list of recipes using your favorite cookies as the key ingredient. Use some of the extra boxes you saved for later on these tasty treats. Love the idea for a recipe, but hate the flavor of the cookie? You can easily substitute any of these for your favorite cookie – they don’t even need to be Girl Scout brand.

Tagalong Cupcakes

If you have a love for tagalongs like I do, then your mouth should already be watering from the photo above. Can this get any better? There was seemingly nothing more appetizing than Girl Scout cookies and cupcakes as separate treats, but now they’re combined into one. Your friends will be impressed with your culinary skills when you show them these cupcakes. Thank you, Girl Scout Cookie gods.

Girl Scout Cookie Milkshakes

This dessert is for all cookie lovers since you can use any flavor cookie you want! Basically, all you need to do is pick your favorite flavors of ice cream and Girl Scout cookies (or even Girl Scout Cookie ice cream), blend together with milk, devour and repeat. Hello freshman, sophomore, junior and senior 15!

Inside out Trefoil S’mores

Girl Scout Cookies and s’mores are some of the most iconic seasonal treats. This recipe combines the best of both worlds into one less messy, yet more delicious treat. Also, this is a no-bake recipe, which is perfect for students who don’t have a kitchen. If you weren’t craving cookies yet, you are now.

Samoa Rice Crispy Treats

Rice Crispy treats were one of the most coveted snacks in elementary school. The classic treat has been revamped. These Rice Crispy treats are another easy no-bake recipe for students made with brown butter and chocolate topped with crushed Samoa cookies.

Savannah Smiles Muddy Buddies

The popular DIY treat gets a (tasty) twist. We all love Muddy Buddies, but when you add Savannah Smiles it’s even better. Chex cereal covered in white chocolate and Savannah Smiles cookies are a dream for anybody who loves citrus. Just looking at this recipe is sending me into a food coma. I know I’ll be making enough of this snack to last me until next season.

There you have it! These recipes are great for all occasions and all cookie lovers. Have any DIY Girl Scout Cookie recipes of your own? Tell us in the comments!
