Name: Nadia Sanchez
Class Year: 2019
Major: International Business
Hometown: Union, NJ
HC: What are you involved with at Dickinson?
NS: I used to be involved in a lot more but this year I decided to focus more on Alpha Phi Omega and my academics.
HC:What are your duties as Pledge Educator in APO?
NS: My fellow pledge educator and I, Cell Njei, are responsible for introducing the pledges to the ways of APO, like teach them about the history and to just get them excited for community service and to just bring them into the family of APO.
HC: What’s you favorite thing about APO/Dickinson?
NS: The friends that I’ve made. When I got here I was terrified because I’m not that great at meeting new people but slowly but surely I started meeting new people and then I joined APO and now i have a family away from home and it’s great.
HC: Have you studied abroad yet?
NS: No I haven’t but I was just accepted into the Dickinson in France program for Spring 2018. So catch me in Toulouse next semester!
HC: What are you most excited to do in France?
NS: I’m probably most excited to see my friend that’s there now honestly. But also I’ve never been out of the country by myself before so this is going to be a completely new experience for me. I’m also planning to travel around Europe.
HC: What is something no one knows about you?
NS: I guess something people never guess about me at first is that I’m half Ecuadorian and half Puerto Rican and proud of it! I also collect Bells.
HC: What do you hope to do after Dickinson?
NS: I’m still deciding on what I want to do. I have a couple ideas but nothing concrete yet. I know that i want to have fun doing whatever I end up doing.
