To My Best Girl Friends,
Now you all know I’m not one for sappy, heartfelt expressions, but for this letter, I’ll make an exception. That’s because I wanted to take the time out to say thank you, to all of you. I know I don’t say it enough, but hopefully this letter will show just how grateful I am to have you in my life.
Thank you for being there to listen whenever I complain about how much work I have to do and for motivating me to believe that I can write my paper (because I always have a paper due). Thank you for being my biggest supporters and my go-to people when I need a coffee break.
Thank you for singing Disney songs with me at the top of our lungs down our dorm hallway – and for not being embarrassed by me when I ride shopping carts down the aisle of Walmart. Thank you for trying to teach me how to ride a bike and for listening to my tirades about March Madness.
Thank you for understanding my love for Fixer Upper and shiplap. Thank you for always giving your honest opinion when we go shopping and showering me with love and scarves on my birthday. Thank you for FaceTiming with me and not taking screenshots when I look ridiculous.
Even if we don’t get to hang out all the time, I wanted to say thanks. You’ve taught me how to have confidence in myself and to be proud of my accomplishments. You’ve always believed in me, even when I couldn’t do it for myself. You’ve shown me what unconditional support looks like. You’ve stuck by my side and I wouldn’t be the person I am without you. You’re my inspirations, badaddes, and the best friends a girl could hope for. So, thank you.
