The housing lottery is right around the corner. This can be both a stressful and exciting time for students.
Unfortunately, housing essentially comes down to luck. There’s not much you can do about your lottery time. Some people luck out and get a 6:00pm.
While others may get a time as late as 12:00am.
Although finding out your lottery time may be disappointing, it is exciting to make rooming arrangements with your friends. Hopefully one of your friends has a 6:00 time slot.
There is nothing more frustrating than watching available rooms disappear as you wait for your time slot.
When your time slot finally hits, you scroll faster than you have ever scrolled in your life.
There is no better feeling than getting the room you and your friends wanted.
Sometimes, you’re not so lucky and end up in dorm like Conway or Buchanan.
Either way, the housing lottery is not the end of the world. You can still end up having an amazing year even if you don’t get the room you wanted.
