What is Stranger Things even about?
I honestly won’t be able to explain it to you but it’s a must watched show. I love watching TV shows but I’ve have been sadly basic when it comes to the shows I watch- Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, American Horror Story. I have been open to watch all types of shows but a show about supernatural BS was not in my radar. Then the first season of Stranger Things came along and just about everyone was talking about it – even my black friends.
Do I really want to watch a show about 4 little kids trying to save the world?
YES. Since everyone else seem to be fine with this show, I have to know what the hype is about.
Set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980s, the first season focuses on the investigation into the disappearance of a young boy amid supernatural events occurring around the town including the appearance of a girl with psychokinetic abilities who helps the missing boy’s friends in their own search.
In the 1980s?
This show change my life because not only was I freaked out by what was going on in this town, the fashion and trends of the 1980s had me hooked. Those phones were huge. I could not believe how trapped I was by this show. This is a must watch show.
