The Spill: Uncle George and Wyatt Isabelle

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at DePauw chapter.

The Spill is back to bring all the latest pop culture news to all of it’s fabulous readers! What a week to come back! Let’s start with some good news. On September 30th, the couple that was meant to be, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis welcomed the heir to their oh so beautiful throne. The announcement came soon after their daughter’s birth, although the name was withheld for a day, keeping adoring fans waiting with bated breath. While the child is no doubt going to be a knock out, there was speculation over what her name could be. Given recent Hollywood baby names, like Kate Hudson’s son, Bingham, the world’s most perfect baby could have nothing but a perfect name. Finally, it was announced that Hollywood’s it couple named their daughter Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher and the rest of the world released a collective sigh of relief. At least it wasn’t Bingham, am I right? Wyatt’s parents met on the set of one of the 2000s greatest comedies, That 70s Show and played love interests as Michael Kelso and Jackie Burkhart, respectively. Kutcher also posted a myriad of pictures of various babies asking fans to guess which one was his.

In more happy news, Hollywood’s eternal bachelor, George Clooney finally got married to lawyer, Amal Alamuddin on September 29th. I feel a personal connection to this story since my dad knew George Clooney in elementary school. The couple was married in Italy and the guest list included Matt Damon, Bono, Cindy Crawford and Bill Murray. Alamuddin is a renowned lawyer who is very active in justice for the Middle East as well as Women’s rights issues.

More news from the romance realm, rumors of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez rekindling their relationship are a flutter after a recent Instagram post. The Biebs posted a picture of a girl who appears to be the ex-Disney Starlet, tenderly kissing his shoulder. The post did not have a caption and there has been no confirmation from Selena’s camp but, honestly, who would be surprised if it was her? It’s ok everyone, we can get through this together. Remember when we thought that dating Selena would be good for J. Biebs? Yeah, I do too, that worked out well.
